I’ve made this Bulgogi Bagel for my friends and for Lee many times – and it’s always a hit!
It’s definitely on the higher-calorie side, so it may not be the best option if you’re in a calorie deficit. But if you’re eating at maintenance or in a bulking phase, it’s such a satisfying meal to enjoy.
I find that whenever I make my own sandwiches or bagels at home, I enjoy them so much more than something from a random café. Maybe it’s because I can add exactly what I like, and I know I’m not using excessive amounts of oil or butter.
This also makes a great meal-prep option or a delicious weekend brunch at home. If you’re a bulgogi lover, I highly recommend giving it a try!

Notes
- ✔️ Any bagel will work, but a larger bagel makes this extra satisfying.
- ✔️ You can use any cheese you like. Edam, tasty cheese, Swiss, or cheddar all work well.
- ✔️ If you don’t have a kitchen torch, simply toast the assembled bagel until the cheese melts.
