Everyone always requests for Lee’s mum’s popular Cambodian dish ‘kapeek pow’, so I learnt how to make a calorie friendly version!

Ingredients

  • Coconut Cream
    180 gram

  • Shrimp Paste
    25 gram

  • Coconut Palm Sugar
    66 gram

  • Kaffir Lime Leaves
    13 gram

  • Knorr Chicken Powder
    25 gram

  • Red Curry Paste
    140 gram

  • Lean Beef Mince
    1000 gram

Directions

  • Cooking
  • In a large pot, bring the coconut cream to a light boil.
  • Add the palm sugar and stir until fully dissolved.
  • Add the shrimp paste, kaffir lime leaves, chicken seasoning powder, red curry paste, and mix.
  • Finally, add the mince and constantly stir until the meat is cooked.
  • (Optional) Simmer on low heat for a little bit to reduce the liquid.
