McDonald’s Coffee Frappe

I made this recipe to help Lee’s mum with her diet. She gained weight from drinking McDonald’s coffee frappes every day last year, so I wanted to create a more calorie-friendly version. The taste is still there, but it’s lighter and healthier!

Ingredients

  • Instant Coffee (Powder, Half The Caffeine)
    5 gram

  • Equal Sweeteners (Aspartame) Packets
    2 package

  • Milo Powder
    5 gram

  • Boiling Water
    50 gram

  • Ice
    150 gram

  • Low-Fat Milk
    150 gram

  • Peters No Added Sugar Vanilla Ice Cream
    100 gram

  • Optional: Whipped cream, low-calorie chocolate drizzle

Directions

  • Dissolve coffee and Milo: In a small cup, combine the instant coffee, Milo powder, and Equal with 50g boiling water. Stir until everything is fully dissolved and smooth. Let cool for 1–2 minutes.

  • Blend: In a blender, add the coffee mixture, ice, low fat milk, and ice cream. Blend on high until smooth and frothy (about 30–45 seconds).
  • Serve: Pour into a tall glass.
  • Top it off (optional): Add a swirl of whipped cream and drizzle with low-calorie chocolate syrup for a café-style finish.
