For those who don’t have a rice cooker!

Ingredients

  • Dry White Rice
    200 gram

  • Water
    200 gram

Directions

  • Preparation
  • Weigh and add however much rice you want.
  • Wash your rice (I wash mine around 5-10 times).
  • Roughly drain the rice one last time then add equal parts water for however many grams of rice you added.
  • Cooking
  • On high heat, bring it to a boil with the lid on.
  • Turn the heat down to a simmer and let it simmer for 7.5 minutes.
  • After 7.5 minutes, turn off the heat and leave it there with the lid on for another 8-10 minutes (normally 8 minutes).
  • After 8-10 minutes, give it a mix and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can use however much rice you want! It’s just a rough 1:1 water to rice ratio (you don’t have to be that accurate with it).
  • We used Korean Short Grain / Jasmine Rice
